Shiba inu

Matching outfit in braun mit dem Hund

Our Photo of the Month in January was taken during a walk in downtown Hamburg and shows a great duo in a monochrome look.

As you can see, little Miko can hardly stay still. The 10-month-old Shiba Inu is a real rascal. This is totally typical for this breed. Shiba Inu's are self-confident, playful, stubborn and are considered only conditionally trainable. Good that the owner has our stable, 3-way adjustable leather leash. With measurements of 2m, 1.5m and 1.1m, it is ideal for any situation in the city. The model "Makassar" also perfectly complements the brown / cream look of the holder.

Trend color brown for a timeless look

According to the Pantone "Fashion Color Report" for winter 2020/21, brown is the quintessential trend color. You can't go wrong with an earthy color palette that ranges from cream to camel to dark brown this winter. Natural tones have the great advantage that they stand for stylish and timeless looks and are easy to combine. Moreover, brown is suitable as a warmer yet elegant alternative to black.

Monotonous equals boring?

Not true! Monochrome looks are very popular right now. But a monochrome look doesn't just look stylish. Dressing in one color makes you look slimmer and taller, which is a great side effect of monochrome looks.

Monochrome is not the same as plain

A monochrome tone-on-tone look builds up from several layers, in the exact same color-, or in different gradations of the color. We prefer the latter, because the monochrome look looks particularly skillful by combining different shades of color. In addition, with this look you should also play with different fabrics and textures: smooth fabrics to coarse knitwear or leather to silk. This gives the outfit more depth.

A brown lambskin-look jacket, camel-colored suit pants, plus a cream top and beige dad sneakers? That's a monochrome outfit just the way we like it. Add a matching dog outfit and you get 10 out of 10 points from the William Walker jury ;-).
